The Half-Elves who remained in Muxuu are one of the historical sources of Elven Lineage among modern Humans.
Their descendants eventually lost the visible racial characteristics that distinguished Half-Elves while preserving some inherited Elven affinities.
This is why a modern Human may possess Elven Lineage without being a Half-Elf.
